Meet the architects, designers, and artisans behind Prantoshil Architect — dedicated to spatial clarity, honest materials, and profound quietude across India.
Our Manifesto
“We do not decorate buildings.
We distill life into spaces.”
Prantoshil Studio Statement · Gaur City, NCR
In a world crowded with ephemeral trends and fast construction, Prantoshil Architect operates with deliberate patience. We view architecture as an enduring discipline — an art form that lives alongside multiple generations and deepens in value over decades.
Whether designing a quiet family home framed by a shaded courtyard in Lucknow, an urban residence in Noida’s metropolis, or a Himalayan foothills retreat in Dehradun, our process begins with listening. We study how light moves across the land, how seasonal breezes cross the site, and how our clients begin and end their days.
By balancing architectural rigor with craft sensitivity, we create spaces that feel effortless, intuitive, and timelessly serene.
Foundational Principles
How we approach design.
Four non-negotiable principles guide every drawing, detail, and material specification produced in our studios.
Contextual Grounding
We reject cookie-cutter architecture. Every commission starts with rigorous site analysis: topography, prevailing breezes, solar trajectories, and regional vernacular nuances.
Authentic Indian Materials
We build with materials that possess innate character: Dholpur & Kota sandstones, in-situ concrete, seasoned timber, and natural mineral plasters that grow more dignified with age.
Choreography of Daylight
Light is our primary building material. We sculpt openings, courts, and clerestories to invite glare-free daylight into living spaces from dawn until sunset.
Passive Climate Response
Passive thermodynamic design, stack-effect courtyards (Aangan), deep solar chhajjas, and rainwater recharge ensure our buildings tread lightly upon the earth.
Leadership & Architects
