Urban Residence
A contemporary urban home defined by layered brick screens, cantilevers and floating greenery.
Design Intent
“To carve out a serene, air-purified domestic sanctuary amid the vibrant pulse of urban Noida.”
Quiet distinction in the heart of the NCR metropolis.
Spatial Narrative & Indian Context
Set within a dense residential grid in Noida, Urban Residence mediates between the desire for an open, light-filled family home and the necessity for rigorous privacy in an active city neighborhood.
The project resolves this dialectic through an introverted tripartite envelope: a solid stone base anchors the ground floor, while cantilevered upper boxes are draped in rotating terracotta louvers and recessed balconies that create private sky-pockets.
Inside, vertical voids tie three generations together. The ground level hosts formal reception and elders’ suites, while the upper level is arranged into private family suites surrounding an open library lounge.
